What better way to explore the beautiful surroundings than by bike? We have a wide range of e-bikes and bikes. Ask at reception for availability and rates. Various walking and cycling routes are also available at reception.

EuroParcs De Utrechtse Heuvelrug has carried the Green Key label since this year. With this we want to show that we are committed to sustainability. Below we explain how you can reach the park by public transport.

The nearest railway station is Maarn. From here you can walk to our park in 25 minutes. There is also a bus stop 10 minutes walk from our park. This is bus stop Woudenberg, De Heygraeff. From here several buses go to for example the Utrecht Sciene park and Woudenberg center. Do you have questions about your journey by public transport or would you like more tips about the area around the park? Then stop by the reception!

Ride silently through the beautiful landscape of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park on an E-chopper. You can choose from different routes that you can download via an app. You can rent an E-chopper at the reception desk or book in advance.

Start your day with a breakfast box! Simply order via the link and collect your box from reception the next morning.

Right in the middle of the park you’ll find the adventure forest! Climbing and scrambling for all ages. Discover just how cool nature is. 

Come and play and let off steam on the playground! Next to the swimming pool, you’ll find a small playground with modern play equipment, and there’s a grassy area for free play. 

Next to the food court, you’ll find a lovely playground with all sorts of play equipment. Whizz down the slide or have a go on the trampoline!  

The playground is spacious and has recently been renovated. 

Enjoying a holiday together with your dog? At EuroParcs De Utrechtse Heuvelrug, your loyal four-legged friend is more than welcome. While you relax in the beautiful nature of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, your dog can enjoy the forests, walking routes and nature areas nearby.

A dog leash policy applies throughout the park to keep the environment pleasant and safe for everyone. Waste bags and waste bins are available throughout the park to help keep the surroundings clean and enjoyable.

The area around De Utrechtse Heuvelrug is perfect for long walks with your dog. You will find various walking routes, forests and nature areas nearby where you and your leashed dog can enjoy peace, space and the outdoors together.

Good to know:

• Pets are allowed in selected accommodations
• Dogs must be kept on a leash in the park
• Dogs are welcome on many walking routes and in nature areas nearby
• Waste bags and waste bins are available throughout the park
• There is no crate or dog shower available at the accommodation
• There is no camera or baby monitor available at the accommodation

In short: a relaxing holiday where both you and your dog can enjoy nature, walking routes and the beautiful surroundings of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug together.

Is your dog on holiday with you? At our park you will find a large playground for your dog.

The large playground has footpaths with playful height differences, seesaws/walking bridges, jumping rings and a play rope. The whole field is fenced off so your dog can run free! Your dog can expend all its energy here!

In the playground we have a table tennis table. Make new holiday friends here and play a game together! At reception, you can hire a table tennis set for 60 minutes for a fee.

At EuroParcs De Utrechtse Heuvelrug, you can hire a shuffleboard for a fun game with your family or friends. Simply book via the button and pick up the shuffleboard at reception.

Near the hospitality square we have a jeu de boules court. You can hire a boules set at reception for a fee. Who will you play with?

At EuroParcs De Utrechtse Heuvelrug, 2 electric car charging points are available. This means that 2 cars can be charged at the same time. The car should not be charged at the accommodation itself. The car can be charged with a regular charging card (NL/EU).

Furthermore, several charging stations can be found near the park (Maarn).

The use of fireworks is not permitted within our park. For many years, we have consciously chosen to maintain a completely firework-free New Year's celebration, allowing our guests, children and pets to enjoy peace and relaxation.

Due to changes in Dutch legislation, a ban on consumer fireworks will apply from New Year's Eve 2026/2027 onwards. Only Category F1 fireworks (such as sparklers and novelty fireworks) will remain permitted for private use. Professional fireworks displays may still take place where the required permits have been granted.

Please note that our firework-free policy applies only within the boundaries of the park. Outside the park, depending on local regulations and circumstances, professional fireworks displays may take place and permitted F1 fireworks may be used.

Important: No fireworks are permitted within the park, including Category F1 fireworks.
