Park Air Base Soesterberg has seen all of aviation history pass by since 1910. The foundations for the Royal Air Force were laid here and it is now the domain of many special fliers, such as the skylark. Every period in this more than 100-year history can be found at the airbase. During the bicycle excursion of about 10 kilometers you will be taken along special places and enter unique areas and buildings that are not freely accessible. You will also get a view of the unique nature that was created here despite or thanks to aviation.

Then come walk with our sweet alpacas Lola, Nora, Nikkie, Sammie, Timo, Suze, Ezra, Noa, Luna, Jura, Hugo, Noëlle, Luca, James, Kees, Bob, Jip, Tommie, Buddy, and Livia. During the workshop, you can enjoy walking in the nature reserve and enjoy the beautiful nature and associated animals. The route is 2.2 kilometers long.

The Doorn Open Monument Day Committee is offering an engaging program during the second weekend of September. One exhibition and 20 municipal and national monuments will open their doors free of charge to the public. Several monuments have organized their own activities. The national theme is “Resilient Heritage—in Times of Uncertainty.”

Every year the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park organizes its annual Experience Week. Whether you've lived on the Utrecht Hill Ridge for years or are just visiting, everyone is invited to all sorts of fun activities for young and old. All tell a piece of the story of the Utrecht Hill Ridge. For example, go on a mushroom safari, get your feet wet on the Leersumse Veld or search for heritage with your family. Every day of the Experience Week there is something different to experience!
